Driver/Equipment Installer
Salary/Rate: Competitive based on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs/week
Select Medical are a leading manufacturer and supplier of pressure care equipment to the NHS, care home and private sectors.
We are currently recruiting for a driver/product installer who can cover the West Midlands & Staffordshire areas, with regular driving to Blackburn to pick-up/drop off mattresses. Ideally the candidate will have experience in a caring environment and be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering a client focused service. The job entails delivery, install and collection of pressure relieving equipment into hospitals, client’s homes and various care settings. An understanding of pressure relieving mattresses and their operation would be an advantage although not essential as training on product will be given.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering, collecting and installing pressure relieving equipment into hospitals, client’s homes and various care settings.
- Providing a polite, empathetic and client focused service. Service users may be vulnerable/ill so it essential in all instances that tact and understanding is employed.
- Understanding & demonstrating the correct functionality of equipment.
- Safe installation of equipment, identifying repair/maintenance and replacement of damaged or faulty stock.
- Drive to Lancashire 3 times a week to collect clean equipment
- Being on call on a rotational basis receiving enhanced allowance during this period.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years full clean driving licence
- Ability to drive a van
