The launch of our new FLEXI crossover surface has started with a surge in sales success, with 2 significant hospital contracts awarded – one in the UK and another in the Netherlands.
“Hill-Rom’s latest hospital bed range is set to remodel how the cared for is monitored during their hospital stay, by integrating advanced sensing and data into the bed. Combined with our FLEXI surface, these beds deliver a unique patient safety platform for falls and pressure ulcer prevention,” said Steve Buckland, Sales Director at Select Medical.
Unlike traditional hybrid surfaces, FLEXI’s unique crossover design featuring Axis Technology provides a gentle alternating cycle intended to encourage continual small changes in pressure (micro-movements) and assist the carer with regular repositioning of the cared for.
FLEXI is an advanced crossover surface utilising a whisper quiet digital control unit with low output pressures allowing for:
- Constant low pressure mode to be selected OR
- Alternating low pressure mode to be selected OR
- To be used in Static mode without a pump as a reactive surface
