SelPro Ultra Low - Medical Bed
SelPro Ultra Low features a platform height position of only 17cm providing a safe sleep surface for patients who may be vulnerable to falling out of bed.
Using the easy to operate remote handset, the bed allows for simultaneous adjustment of the backrest and knee break thus reducing shear and friction forces for a smooth change of position.
A lockout function enables carers to safely set the position of the platform and avoid any unauthorised changes. This is particular useful when used in challenging environments, with confused patients.
Excellent steering and manoeuvrability of the bed is guaranteed with the use of four swivel castors. The castors operate within a secure central braking system for added ease and safety.
Battery back up is standard to ensure the bed can be lowered in the event of a power failure
SelPro Ultra Low is most popular within the Hospice environment and also amongst Mental Health wards in the NHS and private sector hospitals.
